Fundamentals of Industrial Ventilation

This training workshop aims to provide participants with the knowledge and skills to assess an effective ventilation system through an in-depth technical discussion on the various types and uses of industrial ventilation principle, its components, the basic design for controlling health hazards and how to evaluate its efficiency.

  1. Understand the basics of Industrial Ventilation and its importance in maintaining a safe and healthy workplace
  2. Identify the key components of an industrial ventilation system
  3. Recognize different types of ventilation systems
  4. Calculate ventilation requirements by applying a mathematical formula to determine the required airflow for effective contaminant control
  5. Learn how to measure and introduce ventilation in indoor air quality
  6. Familiarize participants with relevant Occupational Health and Safety regulations related to Industrial Ventilation
  7. Develop skills to identify common issues in ventilation systems and demonstrate the ability to recommend and implement corrective actions for workplace improvement

Target participants should have completed a 40-hr BOSH or COSH training, representatives from companies without established IH Programs and belong to workplaces with medium to high-risk operations and processes and government employees and engineers who’s working in ventilation maintenance and facilities.
